Atom Tickets expands movie ticketing service

Atom Tickets has expanded its movie-ticketing platform to more than 70 cities across the US.

The service, which allows users to acquire advance movie tickets, also provides a network for consumers so they can invite their friends and family to events.

The company, which is based in Santa Monica, California, has added major cities such as Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Indianapolis, New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, DC to its list of operational areas.

The expansion has been made possible by striking partnerships with AMC Theatres, Regal Cinemas and Studio Movie Grill. Customers of Atom in the new cities will be able to get their first ticket for free to mark the expansion, according to reports.

Before the latest development, Atom was available in Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Kansas City, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, Raleigh, San Diego and Tampa.
