Seattle tops NFL reselling price poll

The Seattle Seahawks are the biggest draw in the NFL North American football championship, according to ticket price data from Ticket IQ.

The reselling marketplace, which released its survey ahead of the new NFL season, said that tickets to watch the team were on average $466 (£352/$413), way above the published primary ticket price range of between $66 and $299.

Second and third on the list, and also costing more than $400, were tickets for the New England Patriots ($461) and Denver Broncos ($454).

The Jacksonville Jaguars were at the bottom of the ticket price standings at $141, with entry to see Kansas City Chiefs ($143) and Cleveland Browns ($145) also available at less than $150.

The biggest year-on-year rise in demand was for Minnesota Vikings tickets, whose average resold ticket price increased 113% for games at their brand new US Bank Stadium. The LA Rams, after relocating from St Louis, have seen prices soar by 88% ahead of the start of the season.

The San Diego Chargers saw the biggest decrease in demand, with average ticket prices down 26% to $157.
