TiqIQ relaunches with new name

TicketIQ is the new name for the expanded service to be offered by TiqIQ, the ticketing marketplace.

The service will provide consumers access to real-time market analytics and the largest selection of tickets representing over 90 per cent of all inventory available in the secondary market.

As part of its relaunch, TicketIQ has made its ticket market data, used by more than 50 professional sports teams in every major league, available to fans via the TicketIQ app and website. TicketIQ said consumers now have access to real-time zone-level analytics, enabling them to track and get the best deals on sports, music, and theatre tickets.

As an indication of the wealth of data it has amassed, TicketIQ this week released its first annual NFL Ticket Report, analysing the ticket market for all 32 NFL teams.

In late 2016, the company will be releasing TicketIQ Analytics Pro, opening up its database for researchers, journalists and prosumers.

“The ticket market is more complex than ever, and finding the best value in the market requires access to all major supply sources and transparency across both the secondary and primary markets,” said TicketIQ founder and chief executive Jesse Lawrence.

Meanwhile, TicketIQ has completed its Series A-1 financing round, led by Contour Venture Partners and Stonehenge Growth Equity Partners, which has raised $5m (£3.8m/€4.4m).
