Accesso software is latest attraction in Mexico

Accesso Technology Group has expanded its software operations into Mexico for the first time through a deal that will see it build a ticketing and ecommerce platform for major theme park operator Experiencias Xcaret.

The company’s Siriusware solution will service Experiencias’ seven properties, which are located in areas including Cancun and Riviera Maya. Experiencias theme parks attract around 3.5 million customers per year.

The deal marks the arrival of Accesso’s cloud-based software in Mexico, although its point-of-sale hardware is already in use.

Experiencias Xcaret has agreed to use Accesso software to coordinate transportation between theme parks, retail, food and beverage, access control and rentals.

“By partnering with Accesso, we can streamline our operations and ensure that our guests enjoy an unforgettable, seamless experience from the moment they arrive,” said Dagoberto Hernandez, director of technology for Experiencias Xcaret.

Accesso’s technology will be fully integrated and linked across more than 400 workstations at the Xcaret properties. More than 1,000 attractions and venues worldwide currently employ Accesso services, including theme parks, live performance venues and sporting events.

Accesso, which earlier this year acquired UK event ticketing service provider Ingresso, said Siriusware is beneficial for operators because all the modules are integrated into a single system rather than via separate platforms and databases.

“We are proud to partner with Experiencias Xcaret to bring our Siriusware solution to such a unique and culturally-rich attraction,” said Mark Danemann, president of Siriusware. “Our innovative software, seamless integration and easy-to-use interface will allow Xcaret to enhance its operations and continue to deliver an exceptional guest experience.”

Experiencias Xcaret manages Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xoximilco and Xenses, as well as the Xenotes Tour.
