Seats.io, an independent provider of reserved seating, has launched seatingcharts.io, an online repository of seating charts.
The Seats.io plug-in for event registration software simplifies interactive and mobile-friendly floor plans for reserved seating. The technology has streamlined the process of drawing seating charts, and adapting them before, during or after tickets are available.
The newly launched Seatingcharts.io is an online repository of seating charts for the venues that are most used by ticketing providers, immediately available on purchase, and built to work within Seats.io.
The new product allows for flexibility, speed of integration, adaptability, and availability on mobile.
“Several of our customers asked us to provide ready-made seating charts for use within Seats.io,” chief executive Ben Verbeken said.
“We decided to start with offering the seating charts of the London West End and Broadway. If you have an integrated Seats.io account you can buy any available seating chart and be in production today, selling tickets immediately. Of course, we will be adding many more charts in the near future.”
Through the Seats.io plugin, anyone offering tickets can allow ticket buyers to select their seats. Online ticket sellers grow their business and drive up conversion rates, by quickly drawing and adapting interactive seating charts, showing them across all platforms, including mobile, while managing availability in real time.
