Ticketmaster is offering customers the chance to donate to charity projects via the Worldcoo widget in time for next week’s #GivingTuesday campaign.
The ticketing agent has linked up with the Spanish company that provides a tool for financing social projects with high social impact.
Ticketmaster will be offering its users the possibility of adding a solidarity euro for each purchase made, with a different cause targeted each month.
The agreement begins with Oxfam Intermón, with the aim of facilitating access to water in Chad. In December the pair will work with the Theodora Foundation, which looks to offer hospitalised children better facilities.
#GivingTuesday, a global movement that wants to encourage charity, is celebrated on Tuesday, November 28, as an alternative to Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
All donations made by Ticketmaster users can be followed in real time through the website ‘https://ticketmaster.worldcoo.com/‘.
Through Worldcoo, consumers can donate to various social and environmental causes such as the eradication of poverty, scientific research, social inclusion, the reception of refugees or the fight against gender violence.
