Ticket Selection, a Spain-based resale site, is under investigation by UK police after claims that fans did not receive tickets they were charged for.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, many customers have reportedly spent months attempting to chase refunds after being left out of pocket, but with no success.
Action Fraud, the UK’s national fraud and cybercrime reporting centre, has referred complaints about Ticket Selection to the Metropolitan Police in London.
One customer reportedly spent £119 on two tickets for a Steps gig and contacted the firm as the date drew near, according to the Mirror.
The customer said: “They kept saying ‘you’ll get the tickets, don’t worry’. There was still nothing on the day of the concert and they completely ignored all the emails I was sending them.”
Customers who bought tickets for Phil Collins, Metallica and the Beach Boys also said they got no response after their tickets failed to arrive.
