Broncos go paperless

The Denver Broncos are to move over to mobile-only ticketing for the 2018 NFL American football season.

The paperless approach, with home PDF tickets no longer valid for entry, means ticket-holders can access tickets by downloading the free Broncos 365 mobile app or through their Ticketmaster account manager.

The benefits fans will receive include faster entry into the stadium, improved control and convenience by have the ability to manage, transfer or sell tickets at any time, as well as a reduced risk of lost, stolen, counterfeit or forgotten tickets.

“The Broncos are committed to utilising the latest in ticket technology to provide the best experience for our fans,” said senior vice president of sales and marketing Dennis Moore.

“Broncos fans have used mobile ticketing significantly over the last two seasons with more than 35 per cent already accessing their tickets through this method.

“We look forward to all of our ticket holders experiencing the benefits of mobile tickets and will work with our fans to make this a smooth transition.”

The Broncos, who play at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, had the fifth highest average attendance in the NFL in 2017 with 76,355 fans at each game. The club consistently fills the 76,273-capacity stadium, with a 100.3 per cent home average attendance.

In addition to communicating this change directly to season ticket holders, the Broncos have begun educating fans on the mobile ticketing process that will begin with the team’s first home preseason game in August.
