Spektrix appoints tech veteran Perry Dyball

Former Seatwave and Ticketmaster executive Perry Dyball has been recruited to lead Spektrix’s technology drive.

Dyball, who has also held senior roles at Sony Music, Match.com and Primelocation, has been named head of technical operations by the arts software firm.

Dyball is charged with ensuring Spektrix’s user experience and application resilience keeps pace with the company’s rapid customer and transactional growth in the UK, Ireland and North America.

“Perry has the passion for web performance and expertise in large scale ticketing businesses we need to keep delivering an optimal customer experience to the arts and entertainment sector,” said Michael Nabarro, chief executive and co-founder of Spektrix. “We are excited to welcome him to the team.”

Dyball’s appointment follows the arrival of director of engineering Dan Bass from comparethemarket.com as part of a drive by Spektrix to grow its technology team.

Spektrix’s client base includes more than 340 arts and entertainment organisations in the UK, Ireland and North America. More than 20 million tickets were sold through Spektrix in 2017.
