Creamfields rises to top of festival value for money survey

A survey has revealed Creamfields to be the most cost-effective major festival in the UK.

Research conducted by transport company Megabus compared festival ticket prices with the cost of seeing each of its acts individually.

Creamfields, the dance music event, was found to be the most cost-effective, with a ticket costing £220, which is a saving of more than £4,000 on seeing each of its 223 acts on separate occasions.

V Festival was the least cost-effective festival to visit, with attendees saving just £842 as they watched 41 acts perform.
