Simon Presswell has left his role as chief executive of ticketing provider Eventim UK.
The former managing director of Ticketmaster UK had only been in the job for 10 months.
Before joining Eventim UK, he had served in executive roles at UK pay-television broadcaster Sky, US media company NBCUniversal and software firm Citrix.
IQ Magazine reported that Eventim UK’s chairman, Nick Blackburn, is expected to assume the CEO role on an interim basis until a full-time replacement for Presswell can be appointed.
The reason for Presswell’s departure at the British division of European ticketing company CTS Eventim has not been confirmed.
Eventim UK provides tickets for concerts, gigs, theatre performances and sports events.
