Ticketing provider Peatix has struck a partnership with event application solution company EventHub.
EventHub will allow organisers to create event-branded apps for attendees.
Peatix said that an app can be built in as little as one week and can generate a download rate of up to 80 per cent. The company added that the service will be of particular interest to organisers of large-scale events, which attract more than 2,000 attendees.
The apps can feature programme calendars and networking capabilities, as well e-tickets, payments, customer support and event check-ins.
“We are very proud of the 80-per-cent adoption rate of our app in our attendee base, and there’s a wide range of functionality in our app beyond finding your ticket, but we also know the app requirements of a start-up networking event differs from those of a large-scale rock concert,” Peatix chief executive Taku Harada said.
“We want to cater to all those needs, and this partnership with EventHub is the perfect way to accomplish this.”
