The Golden State Warriors have the most expensive secondary market season tickets in the North American NBA basketball league, according to data from VividSeats.com.
The median price for a 2016-17 season ticket at the Warriors’ Oracle Arena home is $286 (£234/€263), almost 32 per cent more than the second highest priced ticket at the New York Knicks ($217).
Los Angeles Lakers fans face an average price of $178 for a season ticket, while the San Antonio Spurs ($158) and Denver Nuggets ($143) round off the top five in the VividSeats.com list.
In contrast, the Cleveland Cavaliers, champions of the 2015-16 NBA, are placed eighth on the list, with a median season ticket cost of $115.
The Phoenix Suns are the cheapest team to watch in 2016-17, with season tickets costing an average of just $50.
