GovX.com, a retail website for current and former members of the US military, police, fire, emergency medical service and other government-related agencies, has linked up with 15 NBA basketball teams to offer military and first responders discounts on tickets during the 2016-17 campaign.
The teams to seal partnerships with GovX are the Washington Wizards, San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons, Utah Jazz, New Orleans Pelicans, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Clippers, Orlando Magic, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks.
GovX is a free service and uses its online verification technology to confirm a member’s service eligibility before granting them access to the ticketing discount programme.
Members will receive access to discounted NBA tickets by visiting tickets.govx.com. Details of the offers were not disclosed.
“It’s another year of deals for our members who love watching basketball live instead of just on TV,” GovX co-founder Tony Farwell said. “To have these 15 teams on board with our programme is a true honour, and we’re happy to once again offer these discounts to our deserving members.”
