Take That fans express concerns about ticketing process

Some fans of pop band Take That have hit out after experiencing problems during the pre-sale tickets phase for a series of concerts in May next year, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Fans could pre-order the band’s upcoming eighth studio album, Wonderland, on Amazon in order to be given an access code to the pre-sales phase before remaining tickets went on sale today (Friday).

Amazon tweeted: “We are experiencing high demand for Take That tickets. Customers have been able to get their tickets, so please keep trying.”

Reported problems included some customers who thought they had secured and paid for tickets, only for them to receive an email several hours later to say they would get a refund in three to five days as the tickets were no longer available.

Some fans expressed concerns that a significant number of tickets for the events at the Manchester Arena ended up on secondary ticketing websites shortly after going on sale.

Take That will perform at the arena on May 18, 19, 20 and 26 as part of a 23-date tour.
