Australasian ticketing, live content and data analytics company TEG has named Matt Cudworth as its new chief technology officer.

Cudworth will join the firm from technology-enabled business solutions and service provider CSC, where he had been serving in a senior executive role.

He brings a range of skills and experience across technology, innovation and commercial matters, having worked on a host of customer-facing projects.

Geoff Jones, chief executive of TEG, said: “Matt’s strength is that he is much more than a clever and energetic CTO with a strong customer focus. He has business acumen, an eye for innovation and will thrive in our fast-moving sector.

“As a company with a focus on technology, the skills he brings are ideal for TEG as we continue our growth in Australia and New Zealand and our expansion into Asia.”

Incumbent chief technology officer Greg Fahy will move to a new international role with TEG as general manager of the company’s Softix ticketing software platform and head of global markets. Fahy will relocate to Europe in an effort to take Softix into new markets.

Jones added: “Greg has made a huge contribution to the development of the Softix platform and has been a pioneer in the ticketing sector. It is a sign of his achievement that our proprietary technology has been exported to the world.”
