Hertha introduces dynamic ticketing

German Bundesliga top-tier football club Hertha Berlin is introducing a dynamic pricing strategy this season.

Under the scheme, Hertha will offer tickets through several phases, with prices increasing over time ahead of the match. For matches where the demand for tickets is not significant, the prices will be dropped accordingly to boost demand.

The initiative is being rolled out this month after Hertha sold out its allocation of season tickets at the Olympic Stadium. The scheme covers all areas of the stadium.

Hertha is currently fifth in the Bundesliga table after winning the opening game of the 2016-17 season 2-1 at home against SC Freiburg.
