The Milwaukee Bucks NBA basketball franchise has launched an innovative new results-based ticket package as it seeks to boost attendances at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
The $149 (£121/€142) ’10-win package’ offers Bucks supporters entry to games until the team has registered 10 victories.
The package becomes valid from the visit of Miami Heat on January 13, with the location of seats to vary from game to game depending on availability. Fans will get their ticket on the day of the game through the Bucks’ app.
The Bucks have won 11 of their 18 home games so far this season, but fans could ultimately get tickets to the final 21 Bradley Center matches at an average of just $7.
The Bucks currently rank 27th out of 30 NBA teams in terms of attendance with an average of 15,223 fans per game at their 19,000-seat venue.
“As our team on the court makes a playoff push, the business team is continually looking for creative ways to engage Bucks fans that match the creativity they see from guys like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker on a nightly basis,” chief marketing officer Dustin Godsey told ESPN.
