Live Nation is set to relocate its New York City base to a huge new eight-floor office space in the city.

Ticketmaster’s parent company is to move from Times Square to Manhattan’s Meatpacking District, according to a report on The Real Deal website, which is a real estate news portal.

Live Nation has reportedly subleased the entire eight-story former parking garage at 430 West 15th Street from tenant Palantir Technologies. The building has a floor space of around 100,000 square feet and is described by The Real Deal as one of the neighbourhood’s “trendy boutique office buildings”.

TIAA gained control of the 100,000-square-foot building in early 2016, when it paid $107m (£86.5m/€101.5m) to Atlas Capital Group and the Rockpoint Group to acquire a 99-year ground lease on the property running through 2113.

The Real Deal said neither Live Nation nor Palantir could be immediately reached for comment.

Live Nation’s headquarters are in Beverly Hills, California. The company has around 4,500 full-time employees.

The Meatpacking District is home to a number of trendy boutiques, nightclubs and restaurants. New York magazine called it “New York’s most fashionable neighbourhood”.
