Spektrix kickstarts 2017 with new clients and increased revenue

Spektrix, a cloud-based box office management software, has kicked off 2017 with impressive growth across the company.

Along with an increasing North American presence, Spektrix has improved its customer base by 73 new clients, pushing the number up to 278 across the UK, US and Canada.

The software encompasses ticketing, direct marketing, fundraising and customer relationship management. The company provides affordable audience analytics capabilities to arts organisations, allowing them to follow sales trends in real time and be responsive to individual theatre-goers.

As new clients rolled in, ticket volume through the system increased by 3.5 million in 2016. Merchandise transactions, memberships and charitable donations also saw sizeable jumps through the software.

“The system has allowed us easier access to our data and more intuitive and insightful analysis than we’ve ever experienced before,” Victoria Murray, head of communications at the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh (pictured), said.

Spektrix, which was founded in 2007 by Michael Nabarro and Matt Scarisbrick, now has three offices in London, Manchester and New York City.
