Syx Ticketing to service London’s new Postal Museum

Syx Ticketing has partnered with London’s new Postal Museum to provide ticketing and point of sale services ahead of the museum’s grand opening later this year.

The ticketing and admissions management software solutions company will offer its support to the museum’s ticket desk and the retail outlets.

Additionally, through the company’s secure data centre, online ticketing, bookings and group bookings will be processed via the cloud-based version of the ReCreateX software solution.

The Postal Museum, located in Clerkenwell, Central London, hopes to welcome over 180,000 visitors a year, along with a further 400,000 through its public events programme, digital and outreach offers. The attraction expects to host more than 10,000 school children annually through its collections, interactive galleries, underground rail ride and learning activities.

“From mid-2017 Mail Rail at The Postal Museum will be a must-do attraction in London,” said The Postal Museum’s head of operations, Lauren Pattinson. “We want to ensure a fantastic experience for our visitors, right down to the buying of tickets. We’re excited to bring Syx Ticketing on board to help achieve that and look forward to a successful partnership.”

Syx Ticketing is the ticketing and POS provider for five major attractions run by The City of London Corporation, including the Tower Bridge Exhibition, The Monument, Keats House, Guildhall Art Gallery and the City Information Centre.

UK sales manager at Syx Ticketing Eddie Lee, said: “We will work with the team at The Postal Museum as they embark on their exciting journey. By using ReCreateX, both in-house and on the web, they will be able to enhance the visitor experience greatly.”
