AudienceView, an e-commerce software company for events and entertainment, has recruited former Live Nation executive Michael Burnett to join its team as managing director in the UK and European markets.
Leaving his director of PMO role at Live Nation, Canada-based AudienceView believes Burnett brings “extensive ticketing and general management experience to the position”. Burnett was also the founder and former managing director of See Tickets from 2000 to 2012.
He will be responsible for all aspects of the firm’s business operations in the UK and Europe, including current customer success, new customer acquisitions, local partner enablement and overall business success.
Burnett will oversee a team of 16 AudienceView staff in Britain and continental Europe. The company’s clients include more than 550 venues in 15 countries, according to the International Ticketing Yearbook 2016.
