Live Nation sued over postponed Janet Jackson tour

A Janet Jackson fan is suing Live Nation after the star’s ‘Unbreakable’ world tour was postponed so she could start a family.

The tour began in summer 2015, but Jackson first had to postpone the tour in December of that year to undergo surgery. Then in April 2016, when the singer decided she wanted to start a family, Live Nation announced that the dates would be rescheduled for 2017.

As yet, no new dates have been announced.

Tiana Adams filed a class action lawsuit against the entertainment company, according to entertainment website TMZ.

The fan reportedly claims that Live Nation is avoiding issuing refunds by saying the ‘Unbreakable’ tour is “rescheduled” and not “cancelled”.

Following the first postponed show in 2015, UK and Europe dates were rescheduled and then cancelled once more. The North American dates were then postponed shortly after with no rescheduling attempts.
