Live Nation Canada and Echo Beach link up with banking giant RBC

Live Nation Canada has announced that RBC, Canada’s biggest bank, has become the new naming sponsor of its Echo Beach venue in Toronto.

The company said the addition of the bank’s name to the iconic beachfront concert arena is part of a multi-year partnership with the group that will “elevate experiences and surprise music fans coast to coast… touching everything from small shows, stadiums and summer festivals

RBC Echo Beach will this week kick off the summer season with two shows, while CBC Festival, featuring some of Canada’s most talented artists including Serena Ryder, Ruth B, Scott Helman, Walk off The Earth, takes place this weekend.

“We are thrilled to partner with such an iconic Canadian brand like RBC,” said John May, president, media and corporate partnerships, Live Nation Canada. “Live music is an experience like no other and we are excited to work with RBC to help bring these experiences to more Canadians.”

Echo Beach was opened by Live Nation Canada in 2011 has a capacity of around 5,000.

Promotions linked to the partnership include competitions and the offer of concert essentials such as beach towels, t-shirts, sunglasses, and electronic charging stations.
