SeatGeek has again expanded its Major League Soccer (MLS) presence through a new partnership with the New York Red Bulls.
Under the agreement, SeatGeek will become the club’s official fan ticket exchange.
SeatGeek is already the official ticket partner of MLS, following a deal signed last year, as well as the Portland Timbers. In addition, SeatGeek launched an innovative new ticketing site for Sporting Kansas City that features its Pano platform.
The mobile-optimised platform offers a number of features for fans such as peer-to-peer transfers and sales at no extra charge, as well as mobile ticketing entry to Red Bull Arena.
In addition, Red Bulls fans can resell through multiple payout options, including through a Venmo account.”
As fans increasingly look to the secondary market for tickets, we are happy to partner with SeatGeek to bring the best experience for fan-to-fan ticket purchases,” said Amy Scheer, chief commercial officer of the Red Bulls.
Russ D’Souza, co-founder of SeatGeek, said: “The Red Bulls offer one of the best fan experiences in sports, and we’re thrilled to be working with a team that’s fantastic on and off the pitch.
“We know SeatGeek will help make it easier than ever for Red Bulls fans to discover and get to the games that they love, and we’re excited about what the future of our partnership will bring.”
