Former Live Nation executive AJ Wasson has set up his own new artist and events firm through the launch of Sector Management Group.
Wasson was the long-time general manager of Live Nation Florida, having started his career as as production manager for Cellar Door before it was purchased by SFX in 1998.
Sector Management Group, which is to be based out of South Florida, will provide business management services to artists and entrepreneurs along with tour and festival accounting.
Its roster includes Randy Fenoli, star of TLC’s ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ programme.
”We bring with us experience, knowledge and a deep network of resources” said Wasson in a statement, according to Billboard. “My entire career has been spent successfully managing businesses – first for Jack Boyle at Cellar Door and then for Live Nation.
“The formation of Sector Management was a logical next step in my career.”
Sector’s infrastructure for clients will include executive, accounting, financial and legal expertise.
