Growing TicketSource switches to new office

TicketSource has relocated to new premises as it expands its workforce to cope with growing demand.

The online ticketing and box office management system provider, which was last year named the 20th fastest growing firm in the influential Wales Fast Growth 50 initiative, has now shifted to a new office in Penarth, just outside Cardiff.

In 2016, Ticketsource handled online ticket sales for 75,574 different events, resulting in a more than 40 per cent growth in ticketing revenues compared to 2015. It is now used by more than 20,000 registered event organisers and venues throughout the UK, US and Europe.

The business is currently seeking a number of computer science graduates, experienced mobile app and software developers, as well as a business development manager.

“After 13 years in business it’s gratifying to see TicketSource growing faster than ever, and mostly as a result of word of mouth,” said Alexander McLauchlan, co-founder and marketing director.

“Going forward, our goal is to continue to build on our past achievements; seeking out the latest technologies and making them available in a cost-effective format to event organisers and venues of all types, sizes and budgets.”
