NFL American football franchise the Green Bay Packers has signed a partnership with ticketing platform Vivid Seats.
Under the agreement, the ticketing firm will become the official fan experience and travel partner of the team.
In addition, the multi-year partnership will provide Packers fans with benefits such as a safe and secure platform to exchange tickets, VIP access to tailgate parties with Packers alumni, as well as the option to work directly with Vivid Seats on custom event requests.
“We’re looking forward to the unique experiences and premium packages that Vivid Seats will provide as the official fan experience and travel partner of the Green Bay Packers,” said Craig Benzel, Packers vice president of sales and business development.
“Vivid Seats can offer our fans new opportunities to enjoy truly memorable Packers gameday experiences, whether at Lambeau Field or while following the Packers on the road.”
Eric Vassilatos, co-founder of Chicago-based Vivid Seats, said: “It is exciting to share our VIP customer service and industry-leading technology with some of professional football’s most enthusiastic and loyal fans.
“We look forward to providing Packers fans with truly unique gameday experiences, giving them one more way to support their team at home and in stadiums around the country.”
Earlier this year, Vivid Seats also linked up with NFL franchise the Cleveland Browns to sell fan experience packages. In what has been a busy year for Vivid Seats, the firm has also been named the official ticketing partner of major US sports media outlets Sports Illustrated and ESPN.
Vivid Seats replaced StubHub as official ticketing partner of the major network, with branding, links and promotions now integrated across all ESPN’s digital platforms allowing users to access and purchase tickets to sporting events.
