Huesca offers free season tickets to tattooed fans

Spanish second-tier football club SD Huesca is offering free season tickets to fans who agree to get a tattoo of the team crest.

The LaLiga 1|2|3 tier club, which was almost promoted to the top-tier La Liga last season, will even pay €60 towards the tattoo as they seek to increase club membership and fan engagement.

The promotion, which is valid from July 30 until September 22, offers a free season ticket within two sections of the club’s 5,500-capacity El Alcoraz stadium. The promotion is valid only for new tattoos, and is only open to adults.

Huesca wants to build a spirit around the club to rival the mighty Barcelona according to a club statement.

It said: “Painted on your skin is the image that inspires you and highlights the values of your team. Show your love to our colours, share your devotion and the heart to continue. All together, we can build the Barça feeling.”

Huesca finished sixth in LaLiga 1|2|3 last season, but were beaten by Getafe in the play-offs.
