TikTiks app adds ePlay technology to further engage fans

Fan engagement technology developer ePlay Digital has signed a deal with fan-to-fan last minute ticketing mobile app TikTiks.

ePlay develops real-time fan engagement technologies that enable TV networks, venues, teams, leagues and brands to evolve and meet the demands of engaged audiences.

ePlay’s Mobovivo Sports Game Engine and software platform, which is already used by CBS, Time Warner Cable, Sony Pictures and Cineplex, will combine with TikTik’s app to engage fans before, during and after games.

TikTiks is a fan-to-fan secondary ticketing marketplace that aggregates sport and concert tickets from season-ticket holders, local businesses and ticket brokers. The company then makes tickets available for last-minute buyers to purchase through their iOS or Android apps.

“TikTiks is like the Hotel Tonight for sports and concert tickets,” said Trevor Doerksen, chief executive of ePlay, as well as chief executive and founder of Mobovivo.

“A super utility like TikTiks is made even better with more information and engagement around sports and events.”

Andrew Browne, co-founder and chief executive of TikTiks, said: “This thrilling partnership with ePlay allows TikTiks to create a platform that combines utility with audience engagement.

“Combining the leading-edge sports game engine with our leading-edge last-minute ticket engine creates new engagement and revenue opportunities.”

The two companies also agreed to collaborate on bringing esports tickets and fan engagement to the TikTiks platform.
