Paciolan snaps up TicketsWest and WestCoast Entertainment

Paciolan has acquired ticketing distributor TicketsWest and promoter WestCoast Entertainment.

The ticketing and marketing operator, formerly part of Spectra, said the companies will continue to trade as subsidiaries under their existing names after being purchased from Red Lion Hotels Corporation

California-headquartered Paciolan, which was bought by Learfield earlier this year, believes TicketsWest and WestCoast will benefit from operational and technological efficiencies following the acquisition. The two companies will continue to offer their clients full service ticketing, marketing, content and distribution capabilities.

“We are thrilled to add TicketsWest and WestCoast Entertainment as members of the Paciolan family,” said Kim Damron, Paciolan president and chief operating officer.

“As a long-time partner with TicketsWest, we have great respect for their fantastic leadership team and staff who have earned an incredible reputation for delivering excellence in ticketing and marketing services to their clients.”

TicketsWest is one of North America’s leading full-service ticketing distributors, powering hundreds of live entertainment organisations, including performing arts, college athletics, multi-purpose venues, and arenas. It will continue to be led by president Dusty Kurtz, while Paciolan confirmed the leadership team and TicketsWest regional staff will remain in their current positions.

“We are incredibly excited to join the Paciolan family,” said Kurtz.

“Paciolan has been a trusted partner of TicketsWest for over 10 years and both companies have gained tremendous insight and respect for one another. We have a shared vision of being a client-focused organisation that places a tremendous value on relationships and delivering exceptional services for our customers.”

WestCoast, a production and promotion company serving the Pacific Northwest, will continue to focus on Broadway shows and concerts following the acquisition.

“Growing WestCoast Entertainment over the last 30 years has been a real joy,” said president Jack Lucas, who will continue to lead the organisation.

“Joining the Paciolan team will provide the company with exciting opportunities to grow and continue to entertain the West Coast and beyond.”
