Atom Tickets’ summer movie offer with T-Mobile draws to a close

Mobile ticketing platform Atom Tickets is bringing its blockbuster summer marketing drive, run in partnership with T-Mobile, to a close with a special offer for the opening weekend of The Hitman’s Bodyguard.

As part of Atom Tickets and the telecoms company’s T-Mobile Tuesdays, which provides North American customers with free gifts and chances to win prizes, moviegoers will this weekend be able to redeem an exclusive offer from the app and purchase tickets on the Atom Tickets app. The offer lasts through the opening weekend of new Lionsgate release, The Hitman’s Bodyguard, from today (Friday) to August 21.

Other hits covered during the season have included ‘Wonder Woman,’ ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ and ‘War of the Planet of the Apes’.

Atom Tickets allows users in North America to pre-order movie tickets and concessions, while the platform also provides moviegoers the option to watch trailers, read reviews and coordinate movie outings with friends while allowing each person to pay separately.

“Fans are loving how easy it is to redeem the T-Mobile Tuesdays offer on the Atom App,” said Ameesh Paleja, chief executive and co-founder, Atom Tickets. “We’ve been honoured to play a part in delivering great movies and exclusive deals to enjoy the latest films including ‘The Hitman’s Bodyguard’.”

Through Atom’s social invite feature, users can purchase their ticket and also invite friends to go to the movie without paying for them. This process allows groups to easily reserve seats together—a crucial benefit for highly anticipated box office releases.
