Uefa, European football’s governing body, has opened up a tendering process to award the hospitality partnership rights for its Uefa Euro 2020 national team competition.
Uefa has published an Invitation to Express Interest (ITEI) to hospitality companies worldwide wishing to participate in a tender for global exclusive corporate hospitality sales rights for the event.
Euro 2020 will be hosted by 13 host cities across Europe in June and July 2020, with the semi-finals and final to be held at Wembley Stadium in London.
The ITEI invites companies to express interest in assisting Uefa in its global corporate hospitality sales and marketing programme for Euro 2020. Uefa said it has identified two possibilities for this programme, with one being global exclusive sales and marketing rights and the other being global exclusive sales, marketing and production rights, including the organisation and provision of catering services.
Uefa said: “Building on the success of the previous tournaments, Uefa is looking to provide corporations and individuals with an attractive hospitality offering for Uefa Euro 2020.
Uefa said interested companies must submit their declaration of interest by September 20, 2017 and, if selected to participate in the tender process, have to submit their offer by November 2.
The group stage and round of 16 matches at Euro 2020 will be played in Copenhagen (Denmark), Bucharest (Romania), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Dublin (Republic of Ireland), Bilbao (Spain), Budapest (Hungary), Brussels (Belgium), Glasgow (Scotland).
The four quarter-final games will be played in Munich (Germany), Baku (Azerbaijan), Saint Petersburg (Russia) and Rome (Italy).
