Patron adds SeatAdvisor to portfolio

Patron Technology is looking to expand into Europe and Australia through its acquisition of ticketing software company, SeatAdvisor.

San Diego-based SeatAdvisor, which offers integrated fundraising, analytics, and marketing capabilities, has worked with thousands of venues worldwide. It hosts significant reseller networks in in Europe and Australia and has sold more than 100 million tickets.

The financial terms of the deal between Patron, which is a portfolio company of Providence Strategic Growth (PSG) and SeatAdvisor, were not disclosed.

“SeatAdvisor’s global reach strengthens Patron Technology’s presence in the U.S. while enabling us to broaden the Company’s scope further across Europe and into Australia,” said Eugene Carr, chief executive of Patron Technology.

“This acquisition is the third for Patron Technology and will help further our strategic vision to help our partners create deeper and more profitable relationships with their patrons.”

SeatAdvisor supports a range of customers including performing arts, universities, high schools, hotels, racetracks, sports organisations, and festivals.

Last month, Patron Technology, the new parent company of PatronManager, made its first acquisition through the purchase of Ticketleap.

Patron Technology has been established to oversee PatronManager, a CRM platform for arts and culture, and the event ticketing service ShowClix.
