Festicket and Eventbrite join forces

Festicket, a UK-based seller of festival packages, has entered into an integration partnership with ticketing and event technology firm Eventbrite.

Under the agreement, Eventbrite customers will have access to Festicket’s portfolio of accommodation and travel options.

The collaboration also provides Festicket with an expanded inventory of festivals globally. The firm currently partners with more than 1,000 festivals, connecting two and a half million registered members and three million monthly users across seven languages and 35 countries.

Zack Sabban, Festicket co-founder and chief executive, said: “One of Festicket’s core missions has always been to take the hassle out of organising a music festival trip, including ticket, accommodation, and travel.

“We are thrilled to announce this collaboration with Eventbrite, which will ensure a wider choice of festivals and experiences available through Festicket than ever before.

“As both organisations share similar company values, we believe this partnership will prove incredibly successful in the years to come.

“We are also looking forward to the new opportunities that this will create for festival organisers and promoters to curate a more attractive offering, all geared towards higher ticket sales and more fans on-site.”

Joel Crouch, general manager for Eventbrite in the UK and in Ireland, said: “This integration partnership with Festicket hits two birds with one stone for our event creators.

“Eventbrite’s live music and festival clients now have the opportunity to easily bundle their tickets with additional products in and around their events, to curate an even more attractive offering. On top of that, they can now reach and tap into a new audience of international fans on Festicket.”

Festicket recently appointed Matt Ephgrave, a former Ticketscript executive, which was acquired by Eventbrite in January, as chief operating officer.
