Deutsch to support Atom Tickets

Atom Tickets has signed up the Deutsch agency to handle brand strategy, creative and production responsibilities for the mobile ticketing platform’s app.

Atom Tickets launched in 2016 with backing from Disney, 20th Century Fox and Lionsgate.

“Deutsch’s strategic, data-driven approach and expertise in launching powerhouse digital brands were key drivers in selecting their agency,” Atom Tickets chief marketing officer Allison Checchi said.

“It is apparent that Deutsch’s team shares the same passion to revolutionise the movie-going experience and we’re thrilled to partner with them.”

Atom Tickets allows users in North America to pre-order movie tickets and concessions, while the platform also provides movie-goers with the option to watch trailers, read reviews and coordinate movie outings with friends while allowing each person to pay separately.

Through Atom’s social invite feature, users can purchase their ticket and also invite friends to go to the movie without paying for them. This process allows groups to easily reserve seats together – a crucial benefit for highly anticipated box office releases.

Deutsch Los Angeles president Kim Getty: “We’re excited to be coming in on the ground floor of a start-up that’s changing the game by creating seamless entertainment experiences for people.

“We’re an agency with a deep history of growing digitally-born brands that have disrupted industries, and that sets a high bar for the work we create. Atom Tickets is transforming the ticketing process and we look forward partnering with them on this journey.”
