TicketGuardian nets double deal

TicketGuardian has agreed new partnerships with Events.com and Feyline as it continues to build its position as a leading ticketing protection provider.

Customers of Events.com, which services the Cleveland Marathon and Florida Renaissance Festival, will be offered the option of getting insurance to protect their investment when registering for events.

Founded in 2016, TicketGuardian’s platform provides low cost coverage to protect attendees from financial stress, should normal life circumstances prevent them from attending an event.

“Both companies believe this should have been done a long time ago within the industry,” said Bryan Derbyshire, founder and chief executive of TicketGuardian.

“Planning for an event is important and therefore protecting your investment in that experience makes sense. I’m glad the Events.com team feels the same.”

Meanwhile, TicketGuardian’s partnership with event promotions and artist management firm Feyline was first trialled on the company’s New Year’s Eve Show featuring an all-star line-up of Migos, Post Malone, Lil Yachty, and Young Thug.

The deal leverages TicketGuardian’s technology, providing ticket insurance to Feyline ticket holders.

“We’re very excited about what TicketGuardian is doing. As Barry always said, ‘There’s only one VIP and that’s the person who bought the ticket,’ and we feel that TicketGuardian emulates that sentiment,” said Tyler Fey, partner at Feyline.

“We want our fans to have peace of mind whether they attend one of our shows or can’t. Feyline and TicketGuardian have a shared ethos of the fans always coming first.”
