TodayTix aims to ‘redefine’ theatre

TodayTix, the international theatre-ticketing platform, has launched its Spring Ticket Event to “redefine the way people see theatre.”

Throughout March, ticket deals to some of London’s top shows will be offered through the TodayTix app and website.

Tickets to more than 25 shows will cost £15 ($20.71/€16.89), £25 and £35. WICKED, 42nd Street and Kinky Boots are all participating shows.

“With thousands of tickets available at prices that don’t come around often, the TodayTix Spring Ticket Event is the best time to go and check out London theatre, whether you’re a first-timer interested in checking out a show you’ve heard a lot about or a frequent theatre-goer looking to finally get to a show you’ve been waiting to see for months,” Brian Fenty, TodayTix’s chief executive and co-founder, said.

The free mobile app for iOS and Android makes theatre accessible to a wider range of demographics, with TodayTix claiming to be “disrupting an established industry that is ripe for innovation”.

TodayTix offers tickets to shows in New York City, London’s West End, Toronto, the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Seattle, Philadelphia, Connecticut, Boston, Washington DC and Chicago.

The company has welcomed nearly four million users, sold over two million tickets, and is working with more than 725 theatre institutions globally.
