LAFC memberships hit the back of the net

Los Angeles FC has completely sold out of its 2018 season memberships for its inaugural Major League Soccer campaign.

LAFC announced that it has shifted all 17,500 full season memberships in the 22,000-seat Banc of California Stadium, which is set to open on April 29.

Tickets will still be available to purchase for supporters, groups, partial plans and single games.

All LAFC members have access to year-round events and benefits that connect them directly to the club, such as priority pricing, pre-sale access and exclusive access to Banc of California Stadium events.

In August 2016, LAFC entered into a strategic partnership with Banc of California, under which the financial services company took on naming rights to the stadium in what was reported to be a 15-year deal.

The $350m stadium is located in the heart of Los Angeles in Exposition Park and is the first open-air stadium built in the city in over 30 years.

The Banc of California Stadium will have an intimate atmosphere with the steepest seating bowl in MLS (34 degrees), seats only 12 feet away from the touchline and an 86,000-square foot field of natural Bermuda grass.

“The North End” Supporters Section features safe standing and boasts a first of-of-its kind rail seating system.

SeatGeek has teamed up with the new boys and will serve as both the primary and secondary ticketing marketplace partner for LAFC.

LAFC is the fifth MLS club to partner with SeatGeek, joining Sporting Kansas City, Seattle Sounders, Portland Timbers and Minnesota United. In addition, SeatGeek serves as the official ticketing Partner of MLS.

LAFC fans will also be able to use their mobile devices to scan their tickets when entering Banc of California Stadium.

LAFC’s inaugural season kicks off on March 4 at the Seattle Sounders.
