Vennersys expands team to support growth

Ticketing software firm Vennersys has hired three new sales staff as it drives towards business expansion.

The West Midlands-based company provides integrated ticketing, retail and visitor management software to a wide variety of visitor attractions, ranging from play centres to World Heritage sites

Luke Fletcher has been appointed business development executive, after a long career in sales.

Joseph Paul joins Vennersys as a client account manager and will be looking to support existing clients to ensure they are happy with the firm’s services.

Sharon Horton has been appointed as a telesales executive and brings with her years of customer service experience, having previously worked at the Jardine Motors Group where she worked in sales.

Business development manager at ticketing software company Vennersys, Martin Fallows, said: “We’re delighted that Sharon, Joseph and Luke have joined Vennersys as we’re going through a period of sustained growth and change as a business – this is primarily down to our cloud-based product – which is going from strength to strength.

“Having helped guide and support our customers through their GDPR compliance issues, we’re now improving our client experience even further with the development of walk through product videos and an iOS/Android format for users who need to access our software on the move.”

The three new editions to the Vennersys team mark a sustained period of growth at the company, which has undergone a 53 per cent expansion in its team in the last two years, according to the Express & Star.

The company has expanded into new markets including Scottish attractions and the heritage railway sector, having served the visitor attraction sector for the last 25 years with ticketing and electronic point of sale (EPoS) solutions.
