Venold Combs, president of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation (SVGFF), has been banned for reselling 2014 FIFA World Cup tickets in Brazil.
The investigation into Coombs was opened in June 2016 and focused on the resale of tickets for the 2014 World Cup
The investigatory chamber analysed allegations that Coombs had sold tickets purchased by the SVGFF and by him personally, in his capacity as a FIFA standing committee member, for a profiteering mark-up.
The adjudicatory chamber of the independent Ethics Committee found Coombs guilty of bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest and loyalty of the FIFA Code of Ethics.
Coombs has therefore been banned for two years from all football-related activities, administrative, sports or any other, at both national and international levels.
In addition, Coombs has been fined $40,000.
The decision was notified to Coombs yesterday (Tuesday), and the ban comes into force immediately.
