TickX, the event ticket search engine, has continued its international expansion after launching in the Netherlands.
The announcement marks the fourth European market for TickX, with event-goers in the country now able to use the service to discover what’s on, compare prices between more than 75 ticket selling platforms covering thousands of events and attractions, and purchase via TickX with no extra fees.
TickX has teamed up with regional ticket sellers across The Netherlands, such as Tiqets and Nationale Theatrekassa. The firm has existing partnerships with major international ticket sellers, including Ticketmaster and Eventbrite.
Steve Pearce, TickX chief executive, said: “We’ve spent the last few months growing our team and improving TickX to give our customers the best possible experience when searching for and buying tickets for events and attractions. Now is the perfect time to launch in a new market and The Netherlands is an ideal location.
“The country has some of the most diverse and unique entertainment in the world and we’re delighted to bring TickX to The Netherlands, giving customers across the country the most transparent way to search for and buy the best-priced tickets in one place.”
The launch in The Netherlands follows a commitment to launch TickX further across Europe, following a recent round of Series A investment earlier this year, led by BGF Ventures.
TickX is available to customers across UK, Ireland, Spain, and The Netherlands online or via the TickX app, with further expansion into more countries across Europe coming soon.
