TicketNetwork adds parking through Way.com deal

Event-goers can now tie in car parking and other essentials with their sports or concert tickets thanks to a partnership between TicketNetwork and Way.com.

TicketNetwork, the software provider in the secondary ticketing market, has formed an exclusive partnership with the online marketplace for parking services.

Through its flagship product, the TicketNetwork Point-of-Sale, and our other solutions, TicketNetwork powers a network of websites that enable buyers and sellers to exchange tickets to thousands of events.

Now customers will able to integrate their ticketing-buying experience with parking, dining and other activities thanks to the deal with Silicon Valley-based Way (What’s Around You), which has partnered with several thousand parking partners across the US.

“We’re excited to formally announce this partnership with Way,” said Evan Honeyman, director of business development at TicketNetwork.

“Way has proven themselves to be a leader in the parking industry and we saw that as an immediate value-added benefit for our customers.

“When a customer purchases a ticket through one of TicketNetwork’s distribution channels, they will be given the opportunity to reserve parking in advance through Way’s cutting-edge online platform.”

Way’s COO Sharanda Bose believes the deal will be beneficial for customers.

“Parking is, and will always be, a problem,” said Bose. “Way helps to alleviate the problem by offering a seamless experience for users by doing the heavy lifting and finding available parking lots around the area.

“The customer can be assured that they will have a reserved parking spot waiting for them, giving them that much more time back to enjoy their event.”
