Ticket Arena and Event Genius is looking to hire a new business development director to help generate new revenue through its product suites.
The role will provide strategic and commercial input to the business in order to expand the client database across a variety of markets such as festivals, live music events, sport and theatre both in the UK and internationally.
Event Genius is a white label fan engagement and event management platform, which provides event cashless POS, Event Genius Pay. Ticket Arena is the firm’s e-commerce ticketing platform, which sells and promotes ticket sales for a variety of events.
The role is based in Leeds, but could potentially be based in London depending on the applicant’s experience. 
The business development director will report directly to the managing director and will be responsible for sales team management and driving revenue and profit, among several other duties.
The firm is looking for applicants with a proven track record in delivering sales working at a senior level, as well as extensive knowledge of the events industry, whether from club nights, festivals, gigs, theatre or sports.
