Patron bolsters engagement with Thuzi

Live event tech firm Patron Technology has acquired experiential marketing technology company Thuzi as the firm continues to expand its ticketing and engagement offering.

Thuzi’s cloud-based platform, which has powered events such as UFC and College Football Playoffs, has helped deliver personalised experiences and data management that drives unprecedented short-term and long-tail return on investment.

Patron Technology chief executive, Marc Jenkins, said: “We want to help our clients create deeper, more profitable relationships with their ticket buyers, fans, and supporters. Thuzi enhances Patron Technology’s robust product offerings by providing an increasingly important and innovative technology component for live events.

“When integrated with Patron Technology’s other solutions, clients can seamlessly engage with fans, activate sponsorships, and drive collection of fan data in ways never done before. We look forward to working with Scott and the Thuzi team to build their presence worldwide.”

Thuzi, whose work with Under Armour, Oprah, Adult Swim, Honda, Microsoft, and Activision has won numerous awards, will continue to service its clients as the company becomes integrated into the Patron Technology platform.

The company provides experiential marketing technology for thousands of clients in the US and internationally.

“We are excited to join Patron Technology,” said Thuzi chief executive Scott Blackburn. “Thuzi is looking forward to expanding our reach while continuing to provide fast, flexible, and scalable event technology to our current clients.

“It was important to us to find a partner who aligns with our mission and company culture. This is a great fit.”
