Liverpool FC’s supporters group have spoken out in praise of the club’s ticket prices for the upcoming Carabao Cup match against Chelsea.
The Spirit of Shankly commended the club on Twitter for “getting it right” with its affordable price range of tickets.
The Main stand tickets, which will be the most expensive, have been capped at £30, while children will only cost between £0-5 depending on where they sit in Anfield.
Supporters looking to sit in the Anfield Road/Kop area can pick up tickets for just £16.
On Twitter, the Spirit of Shankly (SOS) said: “We tell the club when they get it wrong. It’s fair we say when they get it right.”

Meanwhile, SOS chair Jay McKenna told the Liverpool Echo newspaper: “I think supporters can really feel the pinch when we have a consecutive run of cup games.
“But the club has a bit more leeway with the League Cup and FA Cup because of the different standard of opposition we can face.
“I think its nice for supporters when they check their bank balance and aren’t left thinking ‘that hurt a bit.’ Seeing those prices last night, lots of people will have looked at them and thought, that seems fair – we genuinely think it is and that’s why we said the club should be applauded.
