The French Tennis Federation has linked up with Apollo Plus to implement dynamic pricing for the Paris Masters, which kicks off later this month.
Apollo Plus is a Software as a Service data-driven solution that allows the FFT to control in real time each of the 184 ticket segments at the AccorHotels Arena.
“A growing number of event planners and rights holders are expressing the need to leverage the hidden power of data and put in place a fine, modelled and real-time sales drive,” said Thomas Isnard, Apollo Plus chief executive, according to Magestion Billetterie.
Each segment at the venue has reservation ‘behaviour,’ such as price elasticity, demand intensity and reliability levels.
The optimisation integration with the Apollo’s Rocket solution gives each area an enhanced goal of affluence and revenue, which the FFT can control.
The software can identify problems of underflow or crowding and put in place appropriate tactics to amend the issue. The solution recovers, augments the data and presents it on dashboards for the federation to view, as well as using data-driven tactics to implement ticketing changes in an automated way.
The event is set to take place from October 27 to November 4 and will feature tennis stars such as Spain’s Rafael Nadal.
