Accesso clients to offer tickets via Google Maps

Accesso clients will be able to make tickets available through Google Maps before the end of this year.

The ticketing services supplier, which is partnered with many leading entertainment venues and tourism attractions, is now offering its clients access to the search engine giant’s Reserve with Google feature.

Beginning in late autumn, Accesso partners have the option to make their inventory bookable on Google Maps, Search and Assistant via its Ingresso distribution platform, which enables venues to distribute their tickets through global third-party distribution channels in real-time.

Accesso explained that when searching for things to do in their area, Google users will be able to purchase tickets to supported venues and entertainment directly from Google Search, Maps and the Assistant.

In addition to basic contact information and hours of operations, consumers will see a ‘Find Tickets’ button in search results, which opens the reservation interface where users can complete their ticket purchase.

“This integration with Reserve with Google speaks to the ever-evolving ways guests purchase tickets to their favourite venues around the globe,” said Paul Noland, Accesso’s CEO. “As a supported scheduling partner of Reserve with Google, we’re excited for this opportunity to provide added value to our clients.”

Accesso said the option to extend reach through Reserve with Google will come at no additional cost to accesso clients utilising the Ingresso platform.

Reserve with Google is already integrated with Tiqets and activity marketplaces such as Peek. It was launched in cities such as San Francisco and New York City in 2016, and is now widely available across the US.
