Stay22, an event and travel technology firm, has racked up $100,000 (£76,220/€86,686) in commission, delivering on its promise to create revenue for platforms featuring the company’s map.
TicketBiscuit, Everfest, Evensi and Discodonnie Presents feature the Stay22 map on their platforms to help customers purchasing tickets book accommodation near to their event’s venue.
Stay22 founder Andrew Lockhead said: “Our goal is to create ease for event travellers. We are gratified to see our partners and their customers benefit from Stay22, and expect even more growth in the months to come through new partnerships.”
With access to 6.5 million listings worldwide, including hotels, Airbnb and alternative accommodation like villas and hostels, Stay22 is looking to disrupt the event accommodation model.
Stay22 has partnered with more than 700 events in over 20 countries since its inception in 2016. The company achieved a conversion rate of 5.8 per cent across all its segments, nearly 2.5 times as high as the next leading online travel agency at 2.4 per cent. As for ticketing platforms specifically, Stay22 has achieved a 9.4 per cent conversion rate.
The interactive map gives event travellers the ability to curate their event experience down to their type of lodging and its distance from the event venue.
Using Stay22, event organisers and ticketing platforms can offer improved customer experience through the map and benefit from each booking.
