US rapper 50 Cent reportedly purchased 200 tickets to Ja Rule’s upcoming concert so that “the front row can be empty.”
The pair have had a well documented rivalry that dates back to the 1990s, with both artists hailing from Queens, New York.
50 Cent reportedly purchased the tickets on Groupon for the November 9 gig in Arlington, Texas, spending upwards of $3,000, multiple reports suggest.
50 Cent revealed his antics with an Instagram post, which has since been deleted, showing a Photoshopped image of himself sitting among empty seats in what appears to be an arena.
He said: “People think I’m mean so go see this. $15 bucks. Wait what I do now lol,” he wrote. “I just bought 200 seats in the front row so they can be empty LOL.”
Ja Rule responded in a Tweet, saying: “I get under @50cent skin… — I love it!!!”
He also posted multiple photos of 50 dressed in a woman’s wig and make-up.
